Our philosophy of care
Wellbeing and safety of the service users are of paramount importance. All people are valued and are of value regardless of their diagnosis or special needs. We value diversity and seek to enlighten those we work with to see this value also and be treated with dignity and respect.
Empowering service users to enable them to make choices in their lives, based upon informed choices. This is achieved through using positive role models and respecting diversity and reaffirming the strengths of others in a positive and constructive manner.
Service users and staff are engaged in a keyworking relationship and in partnership with other organisations to achieve positive outcomes for our service users while promoting a learning and development culture.
Evidence based practice are followed with person centred planning and other holistic tools such as the positive behaviour support and frameworks such as the star outcomes or a wellness toolbox via the Wellness Recovery Action Plan which is tailored according to each service user individual needs.
We operate an open-door policy so that the service users feel free to talk to staff about any concerns and a blame free culture for reporting of incidents.
